Obtaining Climate DATA

The following publications are available at the Climate Division: 

1.  Monthly Summary of Climatological Data
     This issue contains daily abstract of observations such as, pressure, temperature, relative
     humidity, sunshine, radiation, rainfall, evaporation and wind for 34 principal meteorological
     stations, 119 climatological stations and 130 rainfall stations.

2.  Annual Summary of Climatological Data
     This issue contains monthly summaries of all basic meteorological elements from 34 principal
     meteorological stations, 119 climatological stations and 130 rainfall stations throughout
     Malaysia.

3.  Monthly Weather Bulletin
     This bulletin summaries the monthly weather. Emphasis is mainly given to rainfall pattern,
     temperature, solar radiation and evaporation rate. It also describes atmospheric particulate
     matter (pm-10) concentrations and synoptic meteorological conditions of our region.

4.  Climate Summary
     This publication contains summary of annual climatic conditions of the country. Specific
     emphasis is given to two important elements -  rainfall and temperature anomalies. It contains a
     brief report of significant weather events that have impacted the socio-economic condition of the
     nation.
